Hello friends! :)
I’m currently driving, on my way to Alberta, and I’ll do one portion of my blog on the road, and one later tonight! So, this during this drive I have listened to my iPod, read “Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging”, found out that the ‘d’ key of my cell phone doesn’t work (But I did find out if I press it three times in a row, the ‘d’s appear, so I just have to erase one. Oh, such a hassle!), drank an Ice Capp (YUMMMMMMMMM), ate food, and texted a people. Pretty productive time, I know! *not the sarcasm*
Since I’m stuck in the car, why don’t I tell you guys about something? Let’s start with my best friends. There are eight of us, and they are possibly the greatest thing to have every happened to me. Our group of friends consist of me (Mackenzie), Bridget (Who I told you about before), Olivia (Who I also mentioned!), Stacey, Abby, Monica, Maryanna and Natasha. I guess I’ll tell you the story (Well, it isn’t really a story, but whatever.) I met Bridget when we were 6 months(ish) old. From what our mum’s told us, Bridget was on the back of her mum’s bike, and my mother was pushing me in a stroller. Our mum’s got talking (Sorry, I realized I said mum/mum’s a lot in the last sentence XD) and me and Bridget have just been best friends ever since. I don’t ever remember a point in my life without her. Then when we were three, Livi (I NEVER call her Olivia, sorry! XD) moved onto our street, and we became friends. The summer before Kindergarten started, I was taking swimming lessons at a nearby pool, and Maryanna was in the lesson with me. Little did I know she would be going to the same school as me in the fall! I was in Kindergarten with Natasha, but when you are that little, everyone is your friends so she wasn’t really set apart from the rest of the grade. In grade one, I met Abby and Monica. On the first day of school, me and Abby’s desks were beside each other, and we were both kind of shy so we talked to each other (Oh, AND we had the same pants. Mine were pink and hers were blue. Tehe.). Everyone was sort of friends with each other, basically up until 5th grade, when we started making actual, close friends (Not saying that everyone wasn’t actual friends before, but you know what I mean!). So, in grade five, my close group of friends consisted of Bridget, Abby, Natasha, and I. We were basically inseparable. We didn’t dislike Olivia, Stacey, Maryanna or Monica, we just didn’t talk to them since they were in the other grade 5 class. In grade six, the teachers decided to put all the sixth graders together in one class, so we started talking to them more, and becoming better friends. About halfway through grade six, they split the classes into two (I guess we were a bit too much to handle, I don’t blame them, our class was a little on the odd side...) and the eight of us (When I say ‘eight of us’, I’m referring to Bridget, Livi, Stacey, Abby, Natasha, Monica, Maryanna, and I) ended up in the same class. So during the rest of the year, we would hang out and became really close. We’ve basically been best friends ever since. They are the truly the best, and I’m so glad I have them :) Now you know about my friends!
MORE TO COME TONIGHT. W00T.

I’m now typing from my cousins bedroom :)
So, after driving in the car for six hours (which felt surprisingly short!), we go to our cousins house, at around 5 pm. Dinner was supposed to be at 7, but it ended up happening around 9 xD As we waited for supper, we sat at the kitchen bar counter thing, just chatting with everyone. We helped chop up veggies, grate cheese, ect. After we (finally) ate, we hung out in my cousin’s room, and then eventually went outside to jump on the trampoline. I’ve learned that jumping on the tramp after just eating does not end well. It actually ends very badly. I’d advise you not to do that. We then came inside, talked at the dinner table until my cousin dragged us away to slide down the stairs on blankets, and pillows and such. It’s basically a tradition; we’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember. Hehe. After sliding and practically killing out butts/tailbones, we played Guitar Hero and ended up going back upstairs, chatting, and dancing to MJ with my over tired older cousin, who we believe may have had a bit much to drink. Haha, I love my family :) We ended out night, crashing on the couches, and as I made my cousins watch Star Trek. I believe that is about the 7th time I’ve seen that film, and I swear it gets better each time I see it! Not to mention Kirk gets a lot more gorgeous. I didn’t even think that was possible. ;) My younger cousin crashed on the couch downstairs, so me and my other cousin are in her room, on our computers. What a life.
Until tomorrow!!

Quote of the day: “Friends are like four leaf clovers; hard to find, and lucky to have.”
Random fact: I cry almost every time I hear “Thinking of you” by Katy Perry.
